What is MOSS Jute Hair?
Jute is plant that grows in India and Malaysia. At the overseas mill this jute is deliberately processed to be as fine as human hair. It is strong and lightweight and is given the name “MOSS” because once it’s tied onto your personal or equipment it looks like moss and dead clumps of grass. Strand lengths are approximately 18” long, you can cut it to size.

Unlike burlap strips or jute strands MOSS Jute Hair provides a unique and effective texture to aid in the overall concealment effort. It can be used alone or in conjunction with natural vegetation and smaller jute strands to provide a natural looking and unique texture.

Since Jute is a natural fiber it has all natural characteristics. The older and dirtier it gets the more natural it looks.
